Keith Davies is a locum solicitor currently based in our offices at 21 The Cross, Oswestry, where he specialises in Private Client work. He began working as a locum specialising in Private Client work in 2022and joined our busy private client team in February 2025 to cover maternity leave and assist with an ever-increasing workload.
At GHP Legal our private client team includes highly qualified specialist lawyers who have acted as trusted legal advisers to several generations of many families from all walks of life. Our aim is to discuss your wishes with you and prepare a bespoke Will that reflects those wishes. We can also advise on a wide range of associated matters such as funding care costs and catering for your needs should you become incapacitated.
Keith qualified as a Solicitor in 1979 and set up his own practice in Birmingham three years later. As the Litigation Partner in that practice his work overlapped with private client work and led to him becoming a Member of the Court of Protection Panel Solicitors. Appearing regularly in the Court of Protection, he often dealt with complex issues regarding funding and recovery of money and property from Deputies who had acted improperly.
As well as having more than 25 years’ experience in Court of Protection work, Keith has a wealth of experience in Wills, Probate and Trusts and Inheritance tax planning, and has challenged care funding from the local authority to achieve the recovery of substantial sums for clients.
When he is not working, Keith enjoys playing music. The proud owner of six guitars and several other instruments, he is also a keen football supporter and holds a season ticket for Leeds United Football Club.
