A Wrexham personal injury lawyer safely completed a fifty mile cycle ride in blistering heat last Sunday to raise money for sick children.
Robert Williams, a Partner with leading law firm GHP Legal, completed the ride in 3 hours 9 minutes, raising more than £120 for Claire House Children's Hospital.
After urging others to follow suit and support the hospice movement, Mr Williams stopped to have his photograph taken with the Claire House bear mascot before thanking his sponsors and heading home for a cold shower.
"Twice through the Mersey tunnel was a welcome respite from the blazing sunshine endured for the most part of the ride," said Mr Williams. "But it was worth all the discomfort and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored me; family, friends, colleagues, and of course Carol Pardoe who sponsored my kit."
