A Wrexham solicitor is planning to cycle around fifty miles on Sunday to raise money for a children's hospice on the Wirral.
Personal injury lawyer Robert Williams, a Partner with leading North Wales and Shropshire law firm GHP Legal, will cycle through the Mersey tunnel twice during his round trip from Liverpool to Chester and back again.
After inviting friends, relatives and work colleagues to reward him for the pain he will be putting himself through, Mr Williams will be handing over his sponsorship monies to Claire House Children's hospice which provides respite, end-of-life and bereavement care for children and young adults with complex medical needs.
Speaking about the event Mr Williams said:
"I was privileged to view the hospice before it opened and as with all hospices it is a very special place. The work of the hospice also extends far beyond the hospice grounds, with a specialist nursing team working out in the community offering care and support in the family home. This invaluable service needs all the help it can get and there is still time for more people to dig deep into their pockets and sponsor me."
