Lawyer raises over £200 in charity run

A Wrexham lawyer has completed a half marathon in less than two hours and raised more than 200 pound for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

John Lancaster, who heads up the Family Law and Mental Health teams at leading North Wales and Shropshire law firm, GHP Legal, ran the Vale of Clwyd Half Marathon last weekend, completing the 13.1 mile run in 1 hour, 58 minutes and 54 seconds.

After downing a medicinal pint of Guinness, Mr Lancaster thanked everyone who had sponsored him and helped to raise money for the charity. He chose to support the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as a tribute to the good work they had done in helping the son of close friends who is a cystic fibrosis sufferer.
