A leading Wrexham law firm that helped generate more than £30,000 in future income for a total of nine charities through free Will schemes last year has announced its support for the 2014 free Will scheme being run by a local hospice.
GHP Legal, which has a long history of supporting such charitable schemes, is providing a free service for writing basic Wills at its Wrexham and Llangollen offices between 13th and 17th October 2014, in return for a minimum donation to Nightingale House of £80 for an individual and £120 for a couple.
Emma Jacobs, a solicitor with GHP Legal, said: “Without the gifts left in Wills to charity, many charities would cease to exist. Unless people are prompted, it is often the case that they simply wouldn’t think about including a charity in their Will as a beneficiary. By promoting the idea of leaving a bequest to charity through free Will schemes more people are likely to make that move and GHP Legal is delighted to help.”
Anyone wishing to make a donation to Nightingale House in exchange for a free will should contact Emma Jacobs on 01972 291456.
