Legal advice now available at Oswestrys former Co-op bank premises

A Legal 500 Top Tier law firm in Oswestry has expanded the corporate division of its business and procured new prestigious office premises in the town.

GHP Legal, which with approaching a hundred staff and five offices is one of the largest independent law firms in the region, purchased the former Co-operative bank premises at 21 The Cross last year.

The new offices demonstrate GHP Legal’s confidence in Oswestry Town Centre, fighting the demise of the High Street, and improving local access and development of legal services.

Since the purchase the premises have undergone extensive refurbishment including the installation of air conditioning and provision of private client meeting rooms and conference rooms.

As well as relocating the commercial, property and agricultural team from the firm’s Willow Street offices, which will remain open, the premises will accommodate several new members of staff who have joined the firm over the past six months.

Last year the firm, which also has offices in Wrexham, Llangollen and Chirk, announced a merger with Milton, Francis & Hughes. This was yet another indication of the continued substantial growth pattern planned by the firm.

Richard Lloyd, Senior Partner at GHP Legal, said:  “GHP Legal has undergone extensive strategic growth over the past few years. A multi-disciplinary practice with five offices serving a client base stretching across more than 10 counties in England and Wales, we are one of the longest standing and largest independent law firms in the region. 2019 promises to be another exciting year for us”
