Rhodd Humphreys joined the private client team at GHP Legal’s office in Wrexham in April 2016. With some fourteen years’ experience of dealing with various aspects of private client work, Rhodd brings considerable experience with her.
Prior to joining GHP Legal, Rhodd headed up a private client team on the Wirral, dealing predominantly with Trade Union Clients. During her time there she dealt with all aspects of private client work but with the focus on complex estate administrations and also with the management of high value Deputyships. She has also spoken at seminars, will days and conferences to trade union members about various issues in wills, estate planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
At GHP Legal she will continue to specialise in all types of private client work ranging from Wills, Estate Planning, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and management and the drafting of Personal Injury Trusts. Rhodd has particular interest with dealing with Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administrations and Personal Injury Trusts.
Born and raised in Blaenau Ffestiniog and now living in Wrexham, Rhodd is a fluent Welsh speaker. She studied law at Aberystwyth University before completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law Chester and going on to qualify as a Solicitor in 2002 whereby she commenced her legal career in Wrexham dealing predominantly with private client work until 2006. Some ten years later she has come full circle to return to work in Wrexham following moving to the area to live with her family.
Rhodd lists reading, travelling, going to the theatre, shopping and spending time with family and friends as favourite ways to spend her leisure time. She is also a member of the mixed voice multi-lingual choir, Côr Ger y Ffin, for which she acts as joint secretary, as well as being a parent governor of her daughter’s school and a member of the School’s PTA.
