Euros Jones is a Partner, Joint Head of the Criminal Department, and a highly experienced solicitor with nearly two decades of specialist expertise in all areas of criminal law. Over the course of his career, he has developed a formidable reputation as a leading trial advocate, reflected in an impressive portfolio of successful cases. He is regularly instructed in the most serious and complex matters, including murder, manslaughter, large-scale drug conspiracies, and complex fraud. Euros has also obtained his Higher Court Rights of Audience, enabling him to represent clients in the Crown Court and beyond.

Euros is known for his hands-on approach, often becoming involved at the earliest stages of a case and representing clients from the police station through to the final hearing, where required. This continuity allows him to provide clear and consistent advice throughout proceedings, and his approachable manner ensures clients feel supported at every stage.

His advocacy skills have also led to instructions from major international companies, for whom he advises on a wide range of regulatory matters at both local and national levels. In addition, he has extensive experience in licensing work for both corporate clients and individuals.

Euros joined GHP Legal in 2000 as a trainee solicitor and became a Partner in 2011. Based in the Wrexham office, he supervises the department and plays an integral role in its development. A fluent Welsh speaker, he frequently appears on BBC Wales and S4C as a legal commentator.

As a Partner, Euros also serves as the firm’s Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.
