Solicitor based in our Wrexham office.

Harriet Roberts is a solicitor in the Private Client Department at our Wrexham head office. She joined GHP Legal in November 2021 as a paralegal working in the Civil Department. She began her solicitor training contract in February 2022 and qualified in February 2024.

As a trainee solicitor, Harriet gained experience in a wide range of civil practice areas including personal injury, contentious probate, Landlord and Tenant and consumer disputes. She successfully completed seats in our Conveyancing Department, where she gained experience in both residential and commercial property, and finally our Private Client Department where her particular interest lies. Harriet’s current caseload includes wills, lasting powers of attorney and probate matters.

The Private Client team at GHP Legal has seen considerable expansion in the years since the covid pandemic and continues to grow today. Led by two Partners, based across three offices, the department consists of a team of highly qualified specialist lawyers experienced in the complex law surrounding Wills and Estates. Acting as trusted legal advisers to local clients from all walks of life and others further afield, they are supported by several Legal Executives and other back-office staff who ensure the department’s smooth and efficient running.

Harriet was raised in North Wales and attended Ysgol Brynhyfryd secondary school. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2019 with a 2:1 degree in Accounting and Business (MA) Hons and a 1st Class grade average in her final year and went on study at the University of Law’s Christleton campus where she achieved Distinctions in both the Graduate Diploma of Law and the Legal Practice Course. Alongside her legal studies, she volunteered with Citizens Advice and received training from the National Centre for Domestic Violence.

When she is not working, Harriet enjoys spending time with family and visiting friends in London, Manchester and Edinburgh. She has represented GHP Legal in the Oswestry and Welshpool 10k Runs.
