Mandy Towers
Conveyancing Assistant
Mandy is a Conveyancing Assistant in our Llangollen office.
Based in our Llangollen office, Mandy worked for GHP Legal for five years prior taking a break and re-joining us in January 2021. In her role as a Conveyancing Assistant, she has gained more than thirty years’ experience in property sales and purchase, transfers of equity and remortgages. As well as dealing with property related matters she also specialises in Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Mandy and the rest of the team at GHP Legal understand the stresses of buying and selling a home and dealing with the necessary paperwork related to making a Will and coping with the death of a loved one. Their aim is to reduce your stress, keep you fully informed and help you understand what often are complex situations.
Originally from Surrey, Mandy moved to Llangollen more than thirty years ago, around the same time that our founding firm Gwilym Hughes & Partners opened offices in The Old Bank.
Knowing you can rely on someone you trust is important, and in a small town like Llangollen, trust is what reputations are built on. If you are local, you will almost certainly have seen Mandy around town, or perhaps in her ‘uniform’ on a day when she is volunteering at the Llangollen Railway station as Deputy Station Master, a role she is proud to have achieved. When she is not working or volunteering, Mandy enjoys walking with her dogs, spending time with her children and, she says, she is a prolific reader.
