Natalie is a Solicitor in our Mental Health department based in the Oswestry office
Natalie Holloway is a mental health solicitor and Head of our Mental Health department. With more than 10 years’ experience in mental health law, Natalie joined us in September 2025 and is based in our Oswestry office. She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme since 2016 and qualified as a solicitor in 2019.
Natalie has a wealth of experience representing people detained under the Mental Health Act 1983. The scope of her work includes visiting people in hospital to advise them in respect of their detention and the means of appeal, attending Care Programme Approach Meetings, and representing patients at Hospital Managers’ Hearings and Tribunal Hearings. Natalie’s advice and support can also continue after a patient has been discharged, advising for example on entitlement to s117 aftercare.
Natalie studied Law with Criminology at the University of Sheffield where she gained her LLB (Bachelor of Laws) before going on to study the LPC (Legal Practice Course) at the University of Law in Chester, where she also gained her Masters in Law. When she is not working Natalie relaxes by spending time with friends and family and cooking. She is also an F1 fan.
Mental Health issues are a highly specialised area of law and GHP Legal has a dedicated team of specialist lawyers, that also includes specialists in Court of Protection matters who can act as Professional Deputies or advise Lay Deputies on property and affairs for individuals who lack the capacity to make their own decisions.
