Sera Jones joined our Oswestry commercial property team, based at 21 The Cross, in June 2019.

A Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (FILEX)) since 1999, Sera studied at Liverpool John Moores and Manchester Metropolitan Universities whilst working for the former Cheshire County Council. After qualifying as a legal executive she worked in private practice in Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester before taking up her current role with GHP Legal.

Sera’s experience encompasses the full spectrum of commercial property work, from leases and their associated licences and documentation, to the sale and purchase of commercial property including HMOs and other investment property, agricultural property, small holdings and rural property. In addition Sera handles some high value residential property sales and purchases and includes option agreements, charges and mortgages among her specialist expertise.

A farmer’s daughter, Sera lives next to the family beef and sheep farm in North Wales where she grew up. Her time out of the office is spent walking and training her new working cocker spaniel which, she says, is a ‘work in progress’. She also enjoys gardening, watching motorbike racing, attending as many music events as possible and kick boxing training. On the travel front she looks forward to spending time in Scotland with family and is always planning her next ski trip whilst her ‘knees and everything else will still withstand it!’
