A young Wrexham solicitor who specialises in Wills and Probate has been accepted as a student member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Emma Jacobs, who is based at the Grosvenor Road offices of leading law firm, GHP Legal, qualified as a Solicitor just two years ago. When she attains full membership Emma will be one of only three STEP members in the Wrexham area.
The former Maelor School pupil says she recognised the benefits to clients of having a STEP member handle their affairs after working alongside GHP Legal Partner, Pamela Whitley, one of the current two full members in the area.
"Clients want to know that their Solicitor has reached exacting standards and STEP membership guarantees that the practitioner has either completed and gained the STEP qualification or proved their knowledge and experience, as well as constantly updating their skills," says Emma.
"Members of STEP include the most experienced practitioners in the field of Trusts and Estates and I decided I wanted to be up there with the best in order to provide my clients with a second to none service."
