New partner appointed at town law firm

A solicitor whose family have been in Chirk for many decades has been appointed a Partner by GHP Legal, the law firm that merged with Stevens Lucas in 2015.

Michael Keeling worked part-time for two years in the town whilst studying law and is well-known in the local community.   After gaining his degree in 2008 he went on to complete his Legal Practice Certificate at Chester College of Law.   Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2014 he has acted for a wide range of clients including a couple of famous singers, whose names must, of course, remain undisclosed.

After joining GHP Legal in 2016 Michael worked in the firm’s Chirk office alongside Patrick Stevens.   He was invited by GHP Legal to become a Partner on May 1st this year.  Specialising in commercial and residential property transactions as well as handling private client, wills, trust and probate work, Michael says that he is extremely keen to see the local community and town continue to thrive.
