A member of one of the largest family law teams in the region has gained the Law Society Family Law Accreditation.
Leah Mountford, who joined Wrexham based GHP Legal as a paralegal in 2013, was described by the firm’s training partner as ‘a promising young solicitor with a bright future ahead of her’ when she later embarked on a two year solicitor training programme with them. Leah was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2016.
Solicitors who gain law society accreditation must show that they have and will maintain the required level of competence and knowledge, as defined by the Law Society, in a particular area of law. The Family Law Accreditation covers all types of family law work, except public law Children Act work.
Nathan Wright, Head of the Family department and a Partner of GHP Legal which has offices in Wrexham, Llangollen, Chirk and Oswestry, said of Leah’s accreditation achievement: “Leah is a credit to this firm and to the legal profession. Her Law Society accreditation is well deserved.”
