A County Court Advocate who dealt with litigation hearings across the North-West and North Wales for ten years has joined one of the area’s largest independent law firms.
Working part-time, Sophie Bebbington is a welcome new member of the busy civil litigation team in the Wrexham head office of GHP Legal. The firm, which also has offices in Oswestry, Llangollen and Chirk, ranks among the top one hundred law firms in the country.
During her time in the courts Sophie gained wide experience in cases ranging from possessions and bankruptcy hearings to all the usual procedural hearings and final hearings in personal injury claims. In 2017 she moved to work in Altrincham where she specialised in Landlord and Tenant Law and attended at Court to act as Court Duty Lawyer.
Sophie went to school at Castell Alun in Hope and is pleased to now be working closer to home. Despite being a busy working mother of two young boys, Sophie also manages to find time to play for Hope Netball Club and support Stoke City FC
Robert Williams, Partner of GHP Legal and Head of the firm’s Civil Litigation team, said: “We are so pleased to have recruited someone so well rooted in the area and with such a breadth of experience and knowledge of civil litigation. Her energy and flexibility will be appreciated by both our clients and our team of solicitors”
