One of the area’s largest law firms has appointed a new senior solicitor to its commercial property department.
GHP legal, which has offices in Wrexham, Oswestry and Llangollen, has appointed Iain Hall who has relocated to the area from East Lancashire where he was a partner with two different law firms.
Originally from Montrose in Scotland, Mr Hall studied at St Andrews and Durham Universities, becoming a historian before transferring his interests to legal matters and qualifying as a solicitor in 1990. Since that time he has dealt with all forms of commercial property, development work and landlord and tenant matters, construction contracts and bank security work.
Congratulating him on his appointment, GHP Legal partner Robert Williams, said: “Iain’s experience encompasses everything from retail and licenced premises lettings to multi million pound industrial premises and everything in between. This together with his keen commercial eye makes him a perfect fit with our commercial property team which continues to go from strength to strength.”
A regular club golfer and very keen hill walker, Mr Hall is currently working to qualify as a Mountain Leader in his spare time and spends every day he can out in Snowdonia.
