Movember - 30 days of action to stop men dying too youngTwo members of one of the area’s largest law firms are being questioned by colleagues to establish whether their interim false moustaches qualify for interim donations to charity!
GHP Legal partner, Robert Williams and his accomplice in the potential crime, IT Manager Nigel Redfern, have lodged a defence of having only donned the stick-on ‘tashes’ to increase the number of charitable donations they hope to gather whilst their real whiskers grow.
“Nigel and I decided to join the thousands of ‘Movember’ men around the world who this month are sprouting facial hair to raise vital funds for men’s health and, in particular, for prostate cancer,” says Robert. “However, as we only have a window of 30 days to do this we wanted to encourage early donations when the evidence was not quite there. In due course we will become lavishly be-whiskered.
“We hope the jury will find the evidence in our favour and as many friends, family, colleagues, clients and members of the public as possible will show their support by donating. They can do this by calling into any of our offices, in Wrexham, Oswestry, Chirk or Llangollen, with a cheque made out to ‘Movember’ and referencing ID registration 2795688, or by donating online at https://mobro.co/2795688.
