Wrexham lawyer thumps a bass for Nightingale House

A Wrexham lawyer will be swapping his more serious professional act for a bass guitar on Sunday 30th June, when he joins other amateur musicians on stage in Chester at a live music charity event.

John Lancaster, who is a Partner with GHP Legal where he heads up one of the area's largest Family Law and Mental Health departments, will be playing with fellow members of the band, Jazzectomy, at Alexanders in Rufus Court, Chester. This will be the band's first public appearance.

"The inspiration for the band's name and logo came from the fact that all my fellow members are medics," says John. "and as newcomers to the jazz scene we are all very excited that our inaugural public gig will be at a venue known throughout the north-west for its amazing range of jazz, blues, soul, roots and rock music.

"All proceeds from the event will go to Nightingale House, a very worthy charity that my firm, GHP Legal, has supported many times in the past. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are just £3 in advance, or £4 on the night. Tickets are available from GHP Legal, 26-30 Grosvenor Road, Wrexham, tel: 01978 291456."

Further details of the event can be found on the Jazzectomy facebook page or by visiting www.jazzectomy.com"
