A leading North Wales and Shropshire law firm has appointed three of its senior solicitors as equity partners.
Victoria Wilson and Alison Peters, who both work in the Oswestry office of GHP Legal, will be joined by Natalie Roberts from the firm’s Wrexham office when they take up their new roles on 1st May 2015.
Born in Oswestry where her father was a local greengrocer, Victoria Wilson works in the probate, wills and tax planning department of GHP Legal where her wide experience of long term care cost planning, trust deeds, court of protection and Deputyship applications and management and lasting powers of attorney has been much sought after in recent years.
Flintshire-born Alison Peters qualified as a solicitor at the unusually young age of 23 and has been a key member of the Family Law team at the firm’s Oswestry office since 2006. Alison is also a member of Resolution, a specialist group of just 5000 family law experts in the UK who aim to resolve family disputes in a less confrontational and cost-effective way than through the conventional court method.
Specialising in Mental Health issues Natalie Roberts frequently represents mental health patients at Mental Health Tribunals. Prior to becoming a solicitor Natalie worked as an Applied Behaviour Analysis Tutor for autistic children, and as a Volunteer Appropriate Adult with the Wrexham Youth Justice Service and the Tribunal Support Scheme for the National Autistic Society. In 2009 she was awarded the coveted Brown Dunne & Gray prize for gaining the highest mark in Advanced Litigation in the 2009 Legal Practice Course examinations.
