Read moreQ&A - Could father claim compensation for lung condition if he handled asbestos?
Q: My father has just been diagnosed with a serious lung condition which we have been told is probably as a result of working with asbestos. Although he didn’t ever work directly with asbestos he worked on a construction site for two years which involved the removal of asbestos from existing buildings which they had to demolish before building work started. She had a good job and took over paying the mortgage and I moved in with my girlfriend and things have just bumbled along.

Q: We want to move but in the area we like most of the properties have solar panels on the roof, which look dreadful. The estate agents say ‘just remove them if you don’t like them’, but I am wondering whether you would need permission from anyone to do that. Could we run into any potential problems?
